In High School, Olga had a knack for debate which, after scoring the most points ever at the student congress, landed her at the National Forensics League! Olga then went on to compete in the State Championships. After High School, Olga went on to work at McClellan Air Force Base doing data processing for the Civilian Sector. While working, Olga began her education on Sacramento City College. She started majoring in accounting but eventually switched her major to Art History. While Olga loved Art History, she found her heart was in veterinary medicine. Olga graduated with a degree in Science, with a specialization in Veterinary Technology. While going to school for veterinary medicine, Olga gained experience by working as a Veterinary Technician in Sacramento. In 1998, Olga became a Registered Veterinary Technician. Olga worked at a Veterinary Hospital in Sacramento for 3 years before taking a RVT position at Antioch Veterinary Hospital. After 15 years there, Olga joined the Four Corners Veterinary Hospital team in 2012. Olga’s special interests at Four Corners are dentistry and feline behavior. What Olga appreciates most about Four Corners, is not only her co-workers and the quality medicine the hospital practices but the huge strides the hospital has taken in animal behavior and low stress handling. Outside of work, Olga really enjoys curling up to a good book with her five cats, Figaro, Jasmine, Aurora, Bagheria, and Sgt. Tibbs and spending time with her husband Curt and two kids, Cole and Miles. She is a huge comic book fan and Disney lover!
